Sure, it’s not nearly as impressive as being able to leap tall buildings in a single bound…but it comes in a lot handier, especially when there’s a birthday coming up!
Whether you’re looking for a gift for your impossible-to-buy-for sister or need something extra-special for a friend’s 50th birthday, I can help you find something they will love.
Ever hear that old line, “Even a broken clock is right twice a day”?
At the risk of sounding like I’m boring, I like when my clock tells the right time. All day.
That’s why I’ve developed a repeatable 3-step system. You can confidently know that you’re getting a gift they will love and bask in the glow of people saying things like “I love it!” and “You’re sooooo thoughtful.”
I believe a great gift says,“I see you. I love you. I’m glad you’re in my life.”
The gorgeous sterling silver ring that your normally clueless siblings banded together to buy for your 40th birthday…
That sweet ornament your daughter made you for Christmas and ordered, With Her Own Money, on Shutterfly because she thought it would match your collection .
Is every gift amazing?Of course not!
(I once worked with someone who gave me a very unfortunate looking stuffed animal as a gift. All I could think was, “Huh.”)
But we certainly can make more of the gifts we give delight the recipient.
Life can get busy!
Work. Kids. Workouts. Trying to find time to catch up with your closest friends and family members…and now we’re supposed to meditate too?!
That’s why everything I share is focused on helping you know what to look for and where to find the very best ideas in the oceans of possible gift ideas out there.
After all, the more efficiently you can get a gift, the more time you have to spend with the person you got the gift for!
Bios are great, but people are usually looking for specific answers. Here are the some of the questions I’m asked most frequently.
My mom (Irene). She was a single parent who worked as a waitress in a NJ diner. Though we didn’t have much, Irene made birthdays and holidays super special.
Gift giving has always been a passion of mine…but it wasn’t until later in life that I learned it could be a career.
Seeing how hard my mom worked but still struggled to pay the bills made me very focused on getting into a good college (Duke), so I could get a good job (Procter & Gamble). I got an MBA (UNC-Chapel Hill) and headed out West to get high tech marketing on my resume (Intel).
I was a branding and marketing executive for many years, but a health crisis caused me to re-evaluate how I was spending my time. I left the corporate world, wrote a book on gift giving and Wrap with Love was born.
You should use whatever works for you!
I developed the Gotta Get A Gift system to help people consistently find great gifts. Someone once told me, “This system makes me use my head AND my heart to find a great gift.”
Yes and I have several hundred thousand Powerpoint slides to show for it!
I spent a combined 20+ years at Procter & Gamble and Intel. At P&G, I learned the importance of branding and how to manage large groups of people. Intel taught me the importance of delivering results and how to manage global programs and organizations.
